£1.50

1.3 Explain the types of work relative to the occupational area and how to identify different work activities.

As a carpenter there are a wide range of work that I required to do such as stud partitioning’s, kitchen and bathrooms as well as roofing. And for all these jobs they require a wide range of tools and equipment for me to carry out the work, such as if I was to fix a window frame and window I would need the correct PPE, so I could handle the glass as well as the correct footwear and gloves. I will also need the correct tools for the job such as SDS drill fixings and nail gun as well. I would assess the work needed to be carried out from the given information such as drawings, specifications, schedules, programme of works, scope of works, RAMS etc.
